The Concern Debates competition is new to the school and runs for several months and is completed over a number of stages. Every year, more than 120 schools argue their motions in the hope of being our next debating champions.
Last year was our first year in the competition and our school won 1 out of our 3 debates. Our debate team is open to TY, 5th and 6th year students. We hope to start a junior debating team in the future.
From September - December each school will have three online debates. In January the top 64 schools will progress to the knockout stages of the programme.
