'We Are The Artists, Our Lives Are The Canvas' was a competition that took place through lockdown. The idea came from past pupil Kyla McGowan who contacted the school to suggest a project to increase mental health awareness and wellbeing throughout lockdown by using art as therapy. The finished piece of artwork is a collage of all the different art pieces produced by the students and staff of SMI during the schools closure from January to March 2021.
Pictured in the photo are the competition winners from each yeargroup along with Ciaran O'Sullivan (Art Teacher) and Mr. Seán Lane (Principal).
