Scoil Mhuire & Íde has a long tradition of competing in Ladies Basketball tournaments. The sport has continued to grow in popularity and this is reflected in the high numbers that sign up for it each year. We currently have two teams at each level- 1st Year, 2nd Year, U16 & U19, that compete in the county league, facilitated by Basketball Ireland. The girls train hard over the year, developing their basketball, teamwork and interpersonal skills in a fun environment. Previous experience is not required and we welcome girls of all ages and abilities to join our teams. We have enjoyed many great days out for our Basketball games and look forward to more to come.
