Scoil Mhuire agus Íde vs Castletroy College

SMI's Ladies Footballers played Castletroy College in Coolyroe on Friday 14th of October 2022. Both teams started warming up and preparing for the match at 10:45 and throw-in was at 11:00am.

In the first half SMI got the first score leading the game, Castletroy also added to the scoreboard but SMI managed to keep the lead. The first half ended with Scoil Mhuire agus Íde leading by 4 points.

In the second half Castletroy upped the pressure and closed the gap. In a matter of minutes Castletroy had gained a 4 point lead over SMI. With time running out SMI were feeling the pressure but slowly started to regain their lead scoring some crucial points and goals.

The game ended with the final score 5-12 to 4-10 to SMI. Both sides played a great game and never gave up.
