Student Council Update 2020/21
This year the Student Council excelled in raising funds for several deserving causes. In December the Student Council organised the ‘Annual Christmas Jumper Day’ for the Friday before the Christmas holidays. The atmosphere was merry as everyone joined in the celebration. €450 was raised, which was split between the Simon Community and Crumlin Children's Hospital, two very worthy and deserving causes.
Before the Easter break our school community proudly took part in ‘Daffodil Day 2021’. Students and teachers wore something yellow for the day and made donations to this amazing cause, raising €586 on the day.
This year the Student Council was also active in the renewal of the SMI bullying policy. Through deliberations with students and teachers, a new bullying policy was created that is most suitable to our school community.
