There has always been a strong tradition of Rugby Football in Scoil Mhuire agus Íde and of facilitating, encouraging and affirming those who participate in one of Ireland's most successful international sports.
We field teams from 1st Year right through to Senior (U19s) in Munster and West Munster competitions. We also participate in Rugby 7s tournaments. Our list of honours include:
O'Brien Cup wins in 1996 and 2007
Munster schools 7s Champions 2010
West Munster Junior Champions 2011 and 2013
We have also won numerous 7s competitions and had students represent Ireland and Munster Schools' teams.
